                                                      Walking in Andalucia

Walking in Andalucia amongst some of the most breathtaking scenery in Europe is one A Hiking Group of best ways to truly appreciate its stunning natural and rugged beauty. Many National and Natural parks have a number of marked walking routes but many areas outside of these do not. This is fairly unusual for Europe and totally different to the UK but do not let this put you off.

There are many private hunting areas throughout Andalucia and these are generally clearly marked with diagonal black and white signs. There are no restrictions when walking in these areas as long as you follow a marked footpath on your map.

We suggest that you contact the nearest tourist information office to your accommodation regarding walking routes and they should be able to recommend routes and provide maps. Alternatively, there are many excellent publications specialising on walking in Andalucia. We also recommend that you make enquiries locally as lots of beautiful, rarely trodden routes remain hidden and are difficult to find.
